Two Months

It's true.  Adelie is now an official 2 month old.  She weighs over 11 lbs, filling out her 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers nicely.  She is starting to get onto a schedule during the day, eating 7-8 times and taking 3 naps (2 long, 1 short).  She usually sleeps 6-8 hours at night.  Adelie is my smiley, happy, mellow baby.  There's nothing that fills my heart more than seeing her huge, gummy smile.

Likes:  Adelie still enjoys eating.  She loves music, dancing, going on walks, car rides, bath time, diaper changes, being outside, and her big sister.  Her favorite toys are her play mats and her red/white/black ladybug rattle.  Music time with Daddy always makes her content, and her current favorite music is Reverend Payton's Big Damn Band and the Slash/Miles Kennedy live acoustic set.

Dislikes:  Adelie dislikes being hungry, being tired, and being cold.  Otherwise, she's one happy little baby.

Skills:  Adelie is increasing her skills on a daily basis.  Her head control is improving, both when upright and on her tummy.  She is quite proficient at kicking and hitting dangling toys.  Her legs never stop moving, which is how I remember her in utero.  She will move herself forward on her tummy just by kicking with her legs.  She is starting to inadvertently grab things like blankets, shirts, and hair.  Adelie is a good (and fast) eater, and still can take a bottle like a champ.  Talking is a new skill, and she makes a variety of coos and squeaks.  And if looking cute and making me smile can be considered a skill, she's got that mastered.
