The girls and I took Uma to see "Cinderella" at the high school. Cinderella herself was played by a friend from Stage Kids, so the girls were thrilled to watch her perform. We also took Grammie to see "Matilda: the Musical" at Peoria Players theater. That performance was a little darker and less kid friendly than I anticipated, but the girls enjoyed it (and hopefully didn't understand everything that was said and done on the stage.)
We have 2 November cousin birthdays, so we enjoyed celebrating Elliott and Lucy with special birthday celebrations.
We celebrated Elliott's 11th birthday with a party at Elevate. All the kids had a great time!
We also celebrated Lucy's 3rd birthday with dinner and play time with cousins at Lucy's house.
Briggs enjoyed his Thanksgiving feast at pre-school.
And we all enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast at Zach's Aunt Sandi's house. Good food, play time with more cousins, visiting with family. What could be better?? And we followed that up with some more dessert and some more play time with cousins at my mom's house with my family.
There is really nothing better than time spent with family!
We took the opportunity over the week-end to go see 'Frozen 2' in the movie theater with Grammie and Uncle Ethan. Briggs chose to stay and play with Grandpa, but the rest of us really enjoyed the movie. And Staley didn't cry at the credits. Victory!
Good-bye, November. We'll see you next year!
