We finally got around to re-activating our Peoria Playhouse membership, so Briggs and I enjoyed an outing with his friend, Dava...
...while the girls went to their friends house for a playdate.
Zach and I enjoyed an evening out at the theater to watch the high school version of 'Chicago' put on by the older kids in Staley's acting group. After seeing it, we determined that Staley would enjoy it too, so Grammie and I took her to see it the next night. She LOVED it and enjoyed seeing some of her high school friends after the show.
We took a day trip to the Brookfield Zoo for their Dinosaurs Everywhere exhibit (and to see the animals too, of course.)
We had a good time exploring a new zoo. It was a big zoo with lots to see, although we all agreed that St. Louis remains our very favorite zoo.
And, of course, no zoo trip is complete without a ride on the carousel.
I enjoyed helping with Adelie's tie dye day at school.
The kids have spent time playing with friends and neighbors. The girls enjoyed a play date and movie night with friends the other week-end while Briggs went to Grace's birthday party.
Staley has rejoined NTA's Rising Stars show choir and has enjoyed performing in a few local festivals.
And we jumped into fall with a trip to Roth Pumpkin Patch on an afternoon off school.
This was a new pumpkin patch for us, but it had lots of favorites. Bouncy pillow, barrel train, hayrack ride, zip-line swing, playhouses, tube slides, duck races, apple cider slushies... We spent all afternoon enjoying it all!
It's been a full and fun September.
