Adelie marches to the beat of her own drummer. She is goofy and silly and still cracks me up with some of the things she says. Here are a few recent gems:
We were having a conversation about the kids moving out when they grow up. I mentioned that, when they grow up and move out, maybe I will just move in with them. I said that I could just live in their basement. Adelie retorted, "Well, when I grow up, I'm going to live in a volcano. Then my basement will be lava."
The other day, Adelie was talking about one of the settings on her running watch. She said, "I'm not really sure what it says because I changed my preferred language on my watch to Dutch."
Yep. That's my girl!
