Our 2022 started off with a lazy, wintery white day of fun. With nowhere to go and nothing to do, the snow beckoned and we enjoyed some outdoor time as a family in the first true snowfall of winter.
The girls napped a little after their late night with friends, so Briggs and I ventured out first and made this little snowman to start off our snowy day fun.
Zach and the girls came out as Briggs and I were working on building a snow fort. Soon everyone got in on the action.
The final result was a small little 'igloo' with 2 tunnels leading in from either side. The kids loved it and were very proud!
It wasn't super roomy, but no one seemed to mind. They just took turns hanging out in the fort and "warming up" while the other 2 sledded in the back yard.
Hooray for a snow day! And hooray for hot chocolate and play baths to warm up after a few hours of playing in the snow.
