Happy Birthday, Adelie!

10 years old.  Double digits.  Tweenager.  As hard as it is to believe, Adelie has officially crossed the threshold into this era of leaving behind a bit of her childhood as she prepares for middle school and pays adult prices at certain attractions and opens doors to more activities she can participate in.  And as much as I love seeing her grow and mature, there are just some things about Adelie that never change.

She has always been good about going with the flow.

Her cuteness cannot be denied.

Her crazy side cannot be denied either.

She has always loved and looked up to her big sister.

She has always had a goofy, silly side,...

a sassy side,...

and a sweet, thoughtful side.

She has always collected and saved...

created and imagined...

and loved mermaids and the outdoors.

One thing that never changes is that Adelie is loved beyond measure.  I love this girl for all she is...the things that change and those that don't.
