Adelie just finished up her season of 3rd and 4th grade volleyball. This was her second year playing, and she enjoyed it.
Adelie's team
Adelie made lots of progress throughout the year. She got more consistent with getting her serves over the net, and even served the game winning point twice throughout the season.
She also improved a lot on going for the ball and passing it up or over the net. She passed the ball over the net at least once in a number of her games this season.
Adelie would still get frustrated and there were some tears during a few practices when she would miss a serve or not pass the ball where she wanted it to go, but for the most part, she seemed to really enjoy her season.
Adelie was a great teammate and was always cheering for her teammates, giving them high fives when they did something well, and encouraging them if they missed a serve or pass. She definitely excelled in being positive and supportive.
It made the season even more fun that her friend, Lola, was on her team.
I was the assistant coach for Adelie's team and really enjoyed watching all the girls improve throughout the year.
Adelie had a fun volleyball season. She enjoyed the time with friends, made great progress throughout the season, and continued to grow in her confidence and skills. Success!!
