Story Time

Adelie loves to write and draw and create.  The other day she made a pencil sketch book all about pencils.  Each of the 12 pages featured pencils doing various activities.  Pencils at the pool.  Pencils at the playground.  Pencils at the hotel.  Pencils in the treehouse.

She worked hard on her book.  Her creativity made me smile.  I loved how the words in her book were the names of family members, which are most of the words she can spell without help.  I asked Adelie, "What's your book called?"  Her answer...

"Pennsylvania."

I love her mind!!
